She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law while working as a waitress. She also participated in the Human Rights Clinic at the Interamerican University. She subsequently studied at the Autonomous University of Chiapas School of Law in Mexico.   <br\/> <br\/>The office of Senator Mar\u00eda de Lourdes Santiago Negr\u00f3n served as her first contact with legislative work, and eventually, from 2017 to 2024, she was recruited as a legislative advisor to Representative Denis M\u00e1rquez Lebr\u00f3n.
